Palaces of Music

This large format book portrays 22 great European opera houses with stunning photographs by Ahmet Ertuğ. All photographic images are presented unfolded in the book, with a plate size of 50 x 62 cm. Images are printed using an artisanal technique applying two colours at a time; and two more colours applied afterwards. Fifty images are all individually bound to the spine by using brackets. Beautifully hand bound with red leather and names of the opera houses are embossed on the cover. The book is presented in a exquisite leather box. A collectors item. A seperate text volume of 76 pages has texts about the history and architectune of the opera houses by Michael Forsyth and an essay by Rolf Sachsse.
